A few exciting updates – we have added a new Projects section to the site and will be steadily adding to the archive of work we have produced over the last 10 years. Kicking off with the twinned pieces Remember and Fire and Water, both commissioned by the Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service, we want to show you some of the process of installation and creation as well as the final artworks and artist statements.

For the last few weeks of 2010 GMG will be selling the last of 2010 designs in The Biscuit Factory Gallery in Newcastle and The Buy Design Gallery in Ancrum just North of Jedburgh. There will be current and new designs on display. Both galleries are well worth a visit. Please check out the galleries’ websites.
Due to the disruption caused by the unseasonal weather the studio will be open to the public on Saturday the 4th of December between 11:00am and 3:00pm. I still have a wide range of old and new designs on offer. Effie Burns will also be opening her studio were you will be able to make a purchase from her glass jewellery range and view her current portfolio of work. Designed and Made will be exhibiting on the first floor of Cobalt Studios. Print’s/products/painting’s/glass/jewellery and lots more will be on display. You are invited to join us to have a look at some new designs by Gavin Marshall Glass and selected members of Designed & Made. Wanderlove Cafe will be providing food and drink throughout the weekend.
There will be a Sunday night after party from 7pm until late, free entry, Wanderlove Cafe will sell spiced cider, rum punch, beer and wine, sweet and savoury food. Funky Butt will DJ and the fantastic African band Hannabell and Midnight Blue will provide plenty of dancing potential. We hope that you will be able to join us.
